Question: Could i have a root beer allergy?

I've been trying to figure out what I'm allergic to. I've had maybe 5 severe reactions which included: flushing and itchy skin(starting around the ears and descending to the rest of the body, usually), terrible stomach pain(this is the worst part), nausea, and diarrhea. I realized a while back that although I'm not sure, it's possible I had root beer sometime before each reaction. I know for sure I had it at least 3 of those times. So is there anything in root beer that I could be allergic to? I don't seem to have a problem with other sodas(I've been staying a way from them to be on the safe side anyway), although I'm not certain about cola drinks like Pepsi, as I don't drink them very often. I should add that I'm fairly certain I don't have a wheat or egg allergy. Also, I have already been tested for dyes(and a lot of other stuff), o it would more likely be a flavour or spice of some kind. |
